“Although the planet is 4.6 billion years old, nothing on its surface is older than roughly 0.5 billion years. Almost all of Venus’s history is a blank slate. It looks as if half a billion years ago, all of Venus’s surface was replaced.”
Venus is described as more like the antithesis of Earth in nearly every way then quantified, after a very long time of extreme erosion. The 2014 page added that “the planet itself has compressed by around 400 miles since it was like earth.”
The live Venus page keeps the young lid. The 400-mile compression is not a Paper I claim.
