What missions and papers show
Whole surface about 145 million square kilometres — the size of Earth’s continents. Crust 42–56 km, continental class. Tharsis is one standing volcanic rise. Valles Marineris is a rift beside that rise. InSight heard a liquid light core. No global field now.
How this site reads it
This site reads Mars as the last window before living Earth: a stagnant lid, highlands against a lowland that once held water.
What would kill this stage
If Mars has always been an inner-system planet, assembled dry 4.5 billion years ago, Stage 7 comes off the table.
